Love Without Conditions or Unconditional Love

photo: livinginangst
I love you as you are, as you seek to find your own special way to relate to the world. I honor your choices to learn in the way you feel is right for you. I know it is important that you are the person you want to be and not someone that I or others think you 'should' be.

I realize that I cannot know what is best for you, although perhaps sometimes I think I do. I have not been where you have been, viewing life from the angle you have. I do not know what you have chosen to learn, how you have chosen to learn it, with whom or in what time period. I have not walked life looking through your eyes, so how can I know what you need.

I allow you to be in the world without a thought or word of judgment from me about the deeds you undertake. I see no error in the things you say and do. In this place where I am, I see that there are many ways to perceive and experience the different facets of our world. I allow without reservation the choices you make in each moment. I make no judgment of this, for if I would deny your right to your evolution, then I would deny that right for myself and all others.

To those who would choose a way I cannot walk, whilst I may not choose to add my power and my energy to this way, I will never deny you the gift of love that God has bestowed within me, for all creation. As I love you, so I shall be loved. As I sow, so shall I reap. I allow you the universal right of free will to walk your own path, creating steps or to sit awhile if that is what is right for you. I will make no judgment that these steps are large or small, nor light or heavy or that they lead up or down, for this is just my viewpoint.

I may see you do nothing and judge it to be unworthy and yet it may be that you bring great healing, as you stand blessed by the Light of God. I cannot always see the higher picture of Divine order. For it is the inalienable right of all life to choose their own evolution and with great love I acknowledge your right to determine your future. In humility I bow to the realization that the way I see as best for me does not have to mean it is also right for you. I know that you are led as I am, following the inner excitement to know your own path. I know that the many races, religions, customs, nationalities and beliefs within our world, bring us great richness and allow us the benefit and teachings of such diverseness.

I know we each learn in our own unique way in order to bring that love and wisdom back to the whole. I know that if there were only one way to do something, there would need only be one person. I will not only love you if you behave in a way I think you should or believe in those things I believe in. I understand you are truly my brother and my sister, though you may have been born in a different place and believe in another God than I. The love I feel is for all of God's world. I know that every living thing is a part of God and I feel a love deep within for every person, animal, tree and flower, every bird, insect, river and ocean and for all the creatures in all the world. I live my life in loving service, being the best me I can, becoming wiser in the perfection of Divine truth, becoming happier in the joy of Unconditional Love.

Abundance. Happiness and Humanity

 Day 22

Today's Centering Thought:

“As I elevate my abundance consciousness, I do my part to heal the world.”

Happiness and Humanity

Today’s Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
So Hum—I am

“I absolutely agree with Dr. Chopra’s view that ‘if we want to change the world, we have to begin by changing ourselves”
~ His Holiness, the Dalai Lama

Welcome to Day 22, a special, additional day of the Chopra Center 21-Day Meditation Challenge™, Creating Abundance. Today, we will embark on a journey to heal the world.

Throughout our time together, we have explored the concept of abundance in all its forms. In today’s guided meditation, we will elevate our consciousness to share that rich abundance with all of humanity.

Mindful Moment

Reflect on your journey.

Commit to spending time today reflecting on your three-week journey to an abundance consciousness. Celebrate your accomplishment of meditating daily, journaling, and incorporating the daily Mindful Moments into your life. Indulge in a moment of luxury—do something that makes you feel alive, loved, and deeply cherished.

Reflection Questions

In what ways will you live abundantly today?
What would have to happen for you to let go of any belief in scarcity?
What can you contribute to the healing of the world today?

Abundance and Living Luxury

Day 20
Today's Centering Thought:

“Today, I treat myself to moments of luxury.”
Living Luxury

Today’s Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Om Ritam Namah—My actions and desires are supported by cosmic intelligence.

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive—to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”
~ Marcus Aurelius

Today, we’ll explore the concept of luxury, adding something to your life that is more than what you consider a necessity.

When you feel worthy of receiving all the good the universe has to offer, your needs are easily met and exceeded. As you learn to accept the grace that is given you, you send a message to the universe that you deserve only the best and are ready to receive it.

Mindful Moment

Make time for a little luxury.

Take some time to do something for yourself that you consider luxurious—take a bubble bath or a long walk, meet a good friend for tea, or lose yourself in a favorite old film. Make this a habit. The more you bring small luxuries into your life, the more you will recognize yourself as a worthy, spiritual being, deserving of love and abundance.

Reflection Questions
How does luxury appear in your life?
What luxurious gifts do you give yourself?
In what ways can you add luxury to the lives of others?

Abundance and Living Love

Today's Centering Thought:

“Today, I remember to love everything and everyone I come in contact with.

Today’s Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Sat, Chit, Ananda—Existence, Consciousness, Bliss
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
~ Rumi

Today, we’ll look at how, when we live from a state of love, everything good is drawn to us.

Saying “I love you,” is one of the most emotional expressions in any language. However, “I live love,” is seldom used. Yet, living from love is who and what we really are. At the core of your being, you are pure awareness, creativity, spirit, and love. And, when you experience love, you experience yourself as spirit, one who feels—and is—love.

Mindful Moment

Share your love.

Practice living love today by offering a kind word or thought to everyone you meet, recognizing that the greatest gift you can give to anyone is love.

Reflection Questions
When do you feel surrounded by love?
How does being both unconditionally loved and loving make you feel?
How do you show your love to others?

Abundance and Living Unity

Day 18

Living Unity

Today's Centering Thought:

“I celebrate my unity with all life, knowing we are all one.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Tat Tvam Asi—I see the other in myself and myself
in others.
“There are not more than five musical notes, yet the combinations of these five give rise to more melodies than can ever be heard.”
~ Sun Tzu

In today’s meditation, we will explore unity as the underlying truth of all that is.

As individuals, we look different from one another and have different lifestyles, beliefs, and perceptions. However, these differences exist only on the physical plane. At both the molecular and spiritual levels, we are all one, connected by the universal source.

When we begin to fully understand this concept of living unity, we replace the idea of the personal self with that of the universal self. The notion of competition disappears and leaves in its wake only co-operation. This connection fosters deep love and compassion for everyone and everything around us.

Mindful Moment

Foster interconnectedness.

Be present and genuinely interested in the lives of others when you speak with them today. In your conversations, give your undivided attention and, if you see someone in need, offer your assistance. Fostering these experiences will help you cultivate a deeper understanding of true interconnectedness.

Reflection Questions :
How do you define unity?
How do you view diversity?
In what ways has meditation brought you closer to living unity?

Abundance and Living Carefree

Day 17

Today's Centering Thought:

“I move through my days light-hearted and carefree, knowing all is well.”

Today’s Sanskrit mantra and its English essence are:
Sat, Chit, Ananda—Existence, Consciousness, Bliss

“Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.”
~ Benjamin Franklin

Today, we will look at how we can live carefree—free from judgment and worry, focused on the joy and perfection of what is.

As you grow into present moment awareness through meditation, you realize that in this moment, everything is perfect, just as it should be, and that any concerns you may have are transitory and temporary. You reconnect with your true self and begin to feel more light-hearted. Moving through life, you approach everyday circumstances with humor and can meet the unexpected with calm and ease.

Mindful Moment
Bring in the joy!

Take some time today to reflect on good times, look at old photos, take a leisurely walk, or spend time with someone who warms your heart. Experience the joy of all that you love, including yourself. As a spiritual being, you fear nothing because you know there is nothing to fear, and all that truly exists in the world is love.
